Our History

Performance Plastics, LLC was founded in 2005 by industry veterans John Entenza and Jerid Krueger. With decades of combined experience in injection molding and various facets of the plastics industry, they recognized an opportunity to bring their expertise to a new venture.

In 2006, the company expanded its capabilities by acquiring the assets of Classic Design & Engineering and Apex Plastics Corporation. What began as a single press operating out of a garage quickly grew into a thriving operation with eight presses running two shifts across more than 10,000 square feet of manufacturing space.

 

In 2014, Performance Plastics partnered with Amery Technical Products (AmTec), adding two additional presses within AmTec’s adjacent facility. This collaboration further strengthened the company’s production capacity and technical expertise.

In the fall of 2019, AmTec acquired the assets of Performance Plastics and rebranded the business as Performance Molding. With over 40 years of experience as a contract manufacturer for 3M, AmTec brings unmatched expertise in tape conversion, printing, and prototyping processes.

 

Today, Performance Molding continues to grow, building on a strong foundation of technical knowledge and innovation. While our capabilities expand, our commitment remains the same: to deliver exceptional customer service and the highest level of support our clients have come to trust since the beginning.
